B&N will No Longer Support 1st Gen Nooks from June 29

Barnes and Noble has started sending out emails to customers informing them that because of advancements in their eReader technology, they are unable to continue to support the 1st Gen NOOK from June 29.

So from June 29, 2018, 1st Gen NOOK users will not be able to purchase new content, register with a BN.com account, or sign in using a NOOK account on your NOOK 1st Edition. However, you will still be able to access your existing library, or download new content, by using our NOOK Reading Apps for iOS, Android, or Windows, on mobile and tablet devices, as well as any of our other NOOK devices.

Without no doubt, this unexpected news has caused great inconvenience to the 1st Gen NOOK users. Maybe someone needs to buy a new Nook eReader which allows them to use their Nook account or buy books. Fortunately for you, there’s a great tool for you to back up your purchased Nook books to your computer. So next I’m go to tell you how to back up your Nook books with Epubor Ultimate.
