Amazon has just announced an updated version Kindle Oasis eReader which will be released on July 24, 2019. Preorders are available now at Amazon’s website. Unlike the last Oasis 2017 update, which gave us a completely new design and a much bigger display, the 2019 update is more restrained.

The only new feature in this all new Kindle Oasis 2019 is that it introduces an adjustable warm light for a richer reading experience in any light. This newest Kindle Oasis is also the first Kindle to support adjustable warm light. However, this new function has been employed for years on Nook and Kobo e-readers.

Other than that, the new Kindle Oasis is almost exactly the same as Kindle Oasis 2. The Kindle Oasis 3 features the same 7 inch E Ink Carta HD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1680 x 1264 and 300 PPI as the Kindle Oasis 2. But it replaces the previous Oasis as the most expensive Kindle you can buy. Now this new Kindle Oasis will start at $249.99 for the 8GB model, and $279.99 for the 32GB model.
