How to Read Google Play Books on Kindle Fire Effortlessly

Compared to the Kindle e ink device, Kindle Fire is more budget-friendly. Besides this, Kindle Fire is built for entertainment. You can use it to enjoy millions of movies, TV episodes, eBooks, songs, games, and apps, and manage everything in one place. However, one shortage of Kindle Fire tablets is that the apps in the App store are very limited. So it will be hard for you to read Google Play books on Kindle Fire.

If you are tech-savvy, you can install third-party apps, like Google Play Books app.

If you are not tech-savvy, this guide can help you read Google Play books on Kindle Fire effortlessly.

1. Download Adobe Digital Editions to your computer and authorize it with an Adobe ID.

If you already have an Adobe ID, you can skip this step. First, you need to download Adobe Digital Editions to your computer and authorize it with an Adobe ID.

Run Adobe Digital Editions, click menu Help > Authorize Computer with Adobe ID. If you have an Adobe ID already, you can just input your Adobe ID and password to authorize it. If you don't have one, then you need to create an Adobe ID to authorize it.

2. Download Google Play Books via ADE.

Go to the Google Play Books store, click My books on the top-left of the webpage. Then find the ebook title you want to download, click the three dots icon on the bottom-right corner of the ebook cover. Next select Export > Export as EPUB or Export as PDF from the popup menu.

You will get a .acsm file instead of an EPUB or PDF file. Next, you need to double click the .acsm file to start downloading the actual book via ADE. When it’s done, you can read it in Adobe Digital Editions.

3. Download and install DRM Removal – Epubor Ultimate to your computer.

4. Remove DRM from Google Play Books

Launch Epubor Ultimate, click the Adobe tab in the left panel. Then all of your Google Play books will show up under the Adobe tab.  And all you need to do is add Google Play books to the right main window to remove DRM.

5. Convert Google Play Books to Mobi

After the decryption, select Mobi as the output format in the drop-down menu. Then click Convert to Mobi to start the conversion.

6. Transfer Converted Files to Kindle Fire for Reading

Connect your Kindle Fire to your computer with the USB cable. Open the Kindle Fire folder on your computer, and then open the Internal storage folder. Next, drag and drop the Mobi file you want to transfer into the books folder.

Disconnect your Kindle Fire from your computer. From your Kindle Fire, tap a content library in the top navigation, and then tap the Device tab to view your Google Play books on Kindle Fire.
