How to Back up Kindle Book Downloaded from Amazon Website?

Notice: This solution requires you have a Kindle eInk device that has been registered with your Amazon account. 

Step 1, download Kindle books from the Amazon website.

Visit the Amazon website and log in to your Amazon account. Then navigate to the Content and Devices page >> Download & transfer via USB, your Kindle books will start downloading. 

In the next pop-up window, select the name of your registered Kindle device in the drop-down menu and press the Download button.

Soon your Kindle book will start downloading to your computer. And all of them will be saved as .azw3 files.
