1. Sumatra PDF

Sumatra PDF is a free PDF, eBook (ePub, Mobi), XPS, DjVu, CHM, Comic Book (CBZ and CBR) reader for Windows. It is powerful, small, portable and starts up very fast.

Simplicity of the user interface has a high priority. The program is pretty lightweight, the installation pack is only 4MB while it was only 932KB when it supported PDF format only years ago.

One special feature is it supports “p/n/g” to “previous/next/go to” operations, which is pretty much easier to use than Foxit Reader. And it displays PDF files very clearly without burrs.

2. MuPDF

MuPDF is a super lightweight PDF viewer, it even doesn’t provide you a main interface when you double click on the icon, instead it only lets you to choose a PDF file to open. In addition, it also provides Android/iOS versions.

Except PDF format, MuPDF also supports .xps, .cbz, .zip, .png, .jpg, and .tif files.

MuPDF is also small, fast, and yet complete. It supports PDF 1.7 with transparency, encryption, hyperlinks, annotations, searching and more. Since the 1.2 version of MuPDF, it offers optional support for interactive features such as form filling, javascript and transitions.
