Starting from August 1, Google Play offered a one week sale for audiobooks and ebooks. On their ebooks’ promotion page, all the books are sold under $4, including many popular ebooks. And all the audiobooks are sold under $10 on the promotion page.
While on August 4, the largest audiobook and ebook retailer-- Amazon also released a goldbox sale, where they are offering hundreds of bestselling ebooks, starting at $1. The majority of these books are bestsellers.
